Trimester 2 of digital photography. I hope to learn more about the camera and get better and taking pictures/ photoshopping.
I decided to enroll in Digital Photography because I knew that photography was a hobby that I really enjoy and I would have a lot of fun in this class. I learned more in this class, than any other class ever. However, the learning process was fast and remembering everything about a camera/ adobe applications is impossible, I think I have a good idea, thanks to this class.
I walked into Digital Photography expecting it to be the start of my journey as a photographer, and that's exactly what it was. This class to me is very independent, and besides all of the instructions and demo's Mr. O'Donnell gave us, I liked how he expected us to take control of what we were doing and get it done. I will be taking Digital Photography 2 next year, and probably further my journey as a photographer throughout high school. For example, I see myself taking yearbook, and other photography classes. The photos below are the comparable of the worst photo I've ever taken vs. one of my best portraits. I changed the location, lighting, ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. This assignment was teaching us how to take portrait photography. I liked this because it reminded me of school pictures and that I could actually take okay looking pictures of people. Taking ad Editing the pictures was a fun and educational process.
